Classes and syllabus offered:

A. Early Years program-EYP (Nursery, KG1 & KG2) Our EYP curriculum is based on 7 Pillars supporting individual needs, futuristic learning, life skills, curriculum with an International Edge, CIA Challenges (STEAM), Lil’ Literary Club and Parent Connect. This is over and above Literacy, Numeracy, Physical & emotional development that every kindergarten curriculum offers.

B.Primary Years Program (PYP) Classes 1 to 5: Advanced Cambridge primary curriculum. we will cover stage 6 curriculum by the end of primary grade 5 /cIass 5 (Teaching and learning methods of IBPYP inquiry)

  • EYP: 8 am to 12.15 pm
  • PYP & MYP: 8 am to 2.40 pm (Monday to Friday)
Student-teacher ratio:
The maximum number of students in each class/section is 22 in EYP & 22 in PYP & MYP. Teacher student ratio will be 1:10
What are the languages offered?
Hindi, Kanda and French (*optional) are offered as language options & English is First language

Which are the grades for which admission can be sought?
The admission will be available for Nursery to Class/Grade 5 ( EYP& PYP) for June 2023-2024 session
Teaching staff and teaching quality?
All teachers are academically and professionally (CICTL /CIDTL) qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cambridge /internationaI curricula. They are continually trained by our international faculty heads from Singapore, Canada, USA & India
What are the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) offered ?
A minimum of 2 sessions of ECA will be held in a week.

How well can the students cope with GIG International curriculum if they are from a different board?
A proficiency test will be taken at the time of enrolment to identify the learning gaps and accordingly, a bridging program will be planned by our extremely experienced teachers in order to facilitate a seamless transition into present class.
How can I register my ward’s name for admission?

What are the documents to be submitted at the time of admission?

Student:

  • Two passport sized latest photographs
  • Copy of Aadhar card/Passport
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of immunization records
  • Academic records and proof of promotion from the previous school (Original Transfer Letter/certificate & Report/progress card)

Parent/Guardian:

  • Copy of Aadhar/Passport copies
  • Latest passport size photograph-one each
Is a sibling discount offered?
Yes. A concession of 10% on tuition fees will be given to the younger child.
What are the payment options available?

What is the frequency of fee collection?
3 terms of 4 months each (each term’ fees will be collected in advance)
How many Academic terms are there in one academic session/Year?
There are 2 terms in one academic year. June — NOV & Dec —April
Does the school provide transport for students? It has GPRS
Yes, school will provide transport option within limits of Bengaluru as determined from time to time. GPRS enabled. However, it will be subject to the location.
What are the office timings?
Monday to Friday: 8.00am —4.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am —4.30pm (working on 2 & 4th Saturdays of month)
What kind of proficiency test will be taken at the time of admission?
The test aims at understanding gaps in the child’s learning, based on the Standard GIG syllabus. It will enable us to develop a customised bridging program for the child. The test normally takes approximately 1 hour based on the class. Proficiency test subjects: English and Mathematics. EYP admissions are based on personal interaction of student/s
How will my child be assessed?

The Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA) are as per Cambridge guidelines.

For Classes 1 & 2, there will be 4 FAs (only 2 are paper-pen)
For Classes 3 — 5, there are 4 FAs and 2 SAs.( only 2 are paper-pen of 4 FAs) besides portfolios

Parent communication channels

There are 4 communication channels

  1. Daily: Using School management system(ERP) /portaI with app two-way communication is possible
  2. Weekly: on all working wed days' parents with prior appointment can meet teachers from 2.50 pm to 3.50 pm
  3. Scheduled 4 PTMs a year with 16 slots to physically meet teacher
  4. Emergency: Phone call to CRE
